There are two types of people. The first type is an individual who takes an opioid and gets tired, sleepy, and feels spaced out.
These people rarely get addicted to opioids.
And this makes sense.
If you take an opioid painkiller and it makes you feel foggy, tired, and unable to think clearly, why would you ever want to use it unless you actually needed it for legitimate physical pain?
The second type of individual, however, has a very different reaction to opioids.
When they take an opioid, it might provide a powerful array of welcomed effects.
Common effects this type of person get from opioids are:
- Energy (and lots of it)
- Euphoria (and lots of it)
- Confidence (and lots of it)
- Motivation (and lots of it)
- Mental Clarity (and lots of it)
- Creativity (and lots of it)
- Feelings of Love & Connection (in high amounts)
- Feelings of Safety (in high amounts)
- Feelings of Warmth and Comfort (in high amounts)
- Increased Empathy, Love, & Positive Regard for Others
- Ability to Last Much Longer in Bed (a huge plus for men with Premature Ejaculation issues)
- Increased Motivation to Complete Goals or Tasks
- Feeling ‘Wholeness’ (perhaps for the first time in their life)
Basically, opioids create such numerous and positive benefits for the second type of individual that a person feels like they have ‘Superpowers’.
I commonly hear from coaching clients and other members of my audience that opioids make them feel like Superman or Superwoman.
Here are common statements I hear or read:
- “Opioids give me the energy I need to get shit done”
- “Opioids make me way more motivated and creative in growing my business”
- “Opioids make me a total badass at my phone sales job”
- “Opioids give me the energy that I had when I was a kid”
- “Opioids make me feel like I’ve always wanted to feel”
- “Opioids make me a better husband, a better lover, a better friend, better at my job, and just better at life in general”
Let’s review for a moment…
So, we have two types of individuals.
The first type receives the normal effects that opioids cause.
Opioids are central nervous system (CNS) depressants, so this first type of person gets tired.
The second type of individual, however, has a completely opposite reaction.
Opioids give them energy… and lots of it.
But it doesn’t end there.
Opioids also seem to unlock a hidden reservoir of latent superpowers in the person.
And it’s these individuals that are almost always the ones who get addicted.
Humans have a natural proclivity to avoid pain and to gain pleasure.
So it makes sense that the individuals who get superpowers from using opioids would have more of a tendency to use them often, even if they’re not feeling any physical pain.
Whereas the people who get tired and spaced out from opioids might not see the point in taking painkillers other than to relieve physical pain.
Do you get superpowers from opioids?
Feel free to comment below on how opioids make you feel.

Well the one was wrong about making people sleepy and tired and don’t care. The second was dam close. When I hurt my self I took perks and it killed the pain and I stopped shaking.I was content and quit drinking and smoking and worked around the clock.Iclock.I couldn’t get enough hours, but I was young in my 20s.There is so much BS info out there it’s crazy.Bezos and Opioids have never been a deadly combo.I don’t know where they get that BS from.Withoit your Benzos y will be lost and weird and it will hurt your urinary track up decent if y just stop.Opiod legal offcoase will never hurt y if y don’t take to many and stay regular and go everyday. They can give y colon cancer it y stay constapated for years and years. The ones with apron and Tylenol keep to a small limit.Everyone knows why.To much Tylenol will kill liver. To much also thin blood. They do last alot longer with Tylenol. And o stop BS people about opioids will give y seratonin toxicity. No antidepressants can do that.Opiods release Dopamine not seratonin. Its Meloxicam and voltram cream and Soma’s that will mess y up.I sure hope the FDA didn’t approve 0.1 of Thallium in almost of different pills in March 2016.If they did people have about 7or 8years and then they will die from a heart attack.O by the Way the Ms are not real or there a cheap Mesa are company in ST Louis. The M company was always in afaganastand. They went bankrupt so that why there no good anymore and that’s for any M related pill.Opiods always helped my pain and gave me somewhat of a life.I even stopped shaking it was the best thing all the way around.I wasent shy no more.out of pain and no one could piss me off.Whats wrong with a bunch of happy ducks running around. It something else killing most of these people and the numbers are so wrong. Our government poisoned alcohol in probation days so why would they do it again. They would.Even the antibiotics are fake.Bactrim is no where near the same.Depopulizes yourself a not old people and people in pain.Just because someone didn’t like it.People that has never had pain won’t understand. Our government is killing everyone on Medicare Well then stop taking that out all all working people’s checks.Thats BS.

I actually just googled “why do opioids feel like uppers and stimulants calm me down”. When I was 17, I was in an accident and they prescribed Vicodin to me. I remember my mother saying to take it so I would fall asleep. I had never taken an opioid before, so I laid down waiting for sleep to come. I couldn’t sit still. Yet they gave me adderall to calm me down.
