Opiate Recovery Specialist, Strategic Intervention Coach, Speaker, Author
Matt Finch is an ex-opiate abuser that got off drugs and dedicated his life to helping people recover from addiction. In October 2010, he graduated from the Mueller College Alcohol & Drug Counseling (ADC) Program, which specialized in the “holistic” treatment approach. He began working as a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor at an Opiate Treatment Program (OTP) in San Diego, California, immediately following his completion of school. In June 2011, Matt became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate (CADCA) with the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
Matt’s strong passion for the art of opiate addiction recovery pulled him out of the counseling profession, and led him to starting his own blog, OpiateAddictionSupport.com. Around the same time, he became a Certified Strategic Intervention (SI) Coach with Robbins-Madanes Training (developed by Anthony Robbins and Chloe Madanes), and a Certified Level 2 Qigong Instructor and Certified Advanced Food-Healing Instructor with Supreme Science Qigong Center.
After 14 months in business, he developed his own unique modality of opiate addiction recovery, called The “4-Pillars Method,” which treats opiate addiction as a bio/psycho/social/spiritual disorder.
In 2017, Matt became a Professional Member of the Alliance For Addiction Solutions, which seeks to bring national awareness to the concept of “transforming the addictive brain through nutrition and integrative therapies.”
