[Start of Audio] [00:00]

When you try to change your external world right so the people in your life the situations in your life dealing with addictions of all types – you’re trying to do it by doing something – and people – what I feel is that people really need to work inside because you can’t change your external world until your internal world is more in alignment with what you want to create.

So the reason people talk about “you’re the creator of your experiences and you’re the creator of your universe” – that can be a very difficult concept for a lot of people because – I had one person say to me “well I didn’t create my daughter’s addiction”.

And I lovingly and kindly say “of course not you did not create that but you created this experience on some level”.

And when you take responsibility that you are part of that creation then you empower yourself.

Victim Energy & Mindset

And the difference between a victim mindset is the victim mindset is disempowering and taking responsibility for your life is empowering.

And most people would say like “Well I take responsibility for my life because I told I know now that I’m an addict.”

Okay, but if you are just saying those words but you’re not going inside of yourself and saying “where am I taking responsibility for my life” and that’s a great way to look at it.

So I actually ask people to go inside and go through your whole life where in your life have you blamed others when you could have taken responsibility for part of it.

And the more you take responsibility the more empowered you feel and the less victim you feel – and that helps you understand the difference between the victim and the empowered self.

And honestly, everyone has victim.

I never met anyone who does not have victim energy.

They all experience it different or they express it differently to the world, but everybody has some victim.

And I think it’s actually one of the human plights is victim (victimization), and that’s why we victimize others.

So when we are out there being the perpetrator – because most of us who are victims are also the perpetrator – so when I victimized you – you victimized the next person – because it’s just a cycle.

Awareness (Inter-Spection)

But awareness is key, and I tell I try to explain this to people because most people don’t quite get it.

Awareness is an ‘inter-spection’.

So what is it that I’m doing?

What is my behavior that is creating this experience?

So it’s not just you know going to take a drug or to drink alcohol or to work out to the point where you’re – you know that you’re obsessed with it – right?

Because anything can be an addiction.

Really, it’s more of what is it within yourself that you are holding on to, and honestly, it’s all traumas.

So victim is directly related to traumas.

And the more you go in and you ask yourself – okay I recognize this trauma – now most people think a trauma would be something detrimental to your psyche – and yes it is – you know I beat the crap out of you so that’s a trauma right – but a trauma can also come in a very sub or stealthy way – let’s call it a stealthy trauma.

Traumas

So a stealthy trauma can be when you go to kindergarten for the first day and you’re devastated by the activity and all the energy and you came from a really docile quiet nobody talked households and you never really have a lot of interactions with a lot of other kids your age – and now all of a sudden you’re in thrown into this place – and in that moment you feel unsafe.

So trauma comes from a place of when you feel unsafe.

Now the ages of zero to sixish-seven – that’s when the brain is always in the alpha and theta brain states – and guess what?

That’s when you’re being programmed.

That’s what hypnotists do.

They put you in the theta brain state to hypnotize you to program you.

So now you’re being programmed at this early age.

So any trauma that happens at that age sits deeply within the energy circuits multi-dimensionally.

So I’ll speak in that way, it sits in your energy it sits in your cellular memory so there’s a part of you that remembers that.

Okay, so that’s the victim – it remembers those traumas and that’s all you have to really know is – okay, so it’s sitting somewhere in my energy – and sometimes like it’s in your gut.

A lot of times we put things in our gut because those are your lower chakra systems and those are you know where we hide our fight/flight/freeze/hide.

And that also comes from our complex and our complexes.

You know how – what do I need to be safe right – fight/flight/freeze/hide – now on the other side – so this is the long-winded answer to your question – but on the other side of that is creation.

Creator Energy & Mindset

So we are creating our reality.

And that’s really like – people are like “that’s screwed up like shoot that means I’m like life might not be easy for me right?”

And I want you to understand it’s empowering to know that you are the creator of your environment and then what we usually do when we hear that we go “oh shit now that means that everything that I did is all my fault”.

No.

Don’t go there.

It’s an experience.

It’s not a ‘right or wrong thing’.

It’s just an experience.

It’s the energy we put behind something that makes it really good or bad.

Okay, so just because you are an addict at one time in your life or you’re struggling through that doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.

It means that you had an experience that has been a struggle to get out of – right – but you create your reality.

So when you start releasing and get letting go of your traumas and your addictions and the belief systems around not being good enough or being unworthy or a victim – what starts to happen is you start to receive more higher states of consciousness.

Those are states of oneness of unconditional love of like blissful joy like you said.

And when we start being more the Creator in that energy – and I’m not saying don’t spiritually bypass your crap – because that will mess you up too – so I’m only gonna focus on love and joy – well you still have all that old trauma – it’s going to come out one way or another and usually it does come out in addictions.

By the way… so when you start creating more from a different space – so the difference when you start creating from the creative side of you you start creating a different experience – right – so you’re either creating from your victim or you’re creating from your Creator within – like your higher self – your higher consciousness – your awareness.

So both of those things are what brings forward your divine love of self.

And it’s not an easy process.

So you know it sounds really nice – and I’m putting in a cute little package – but a lot of shit in that package.

A lot of difficulties.

A lot of things that you have to overcome.

And the work is hard, but it’s worth the other side.

And I’ve seen it time and time again.

Divine Love Meditation

So the meditation mat that you are referring to is something that I would love for you to put in the show notes.

It’s called the Divine Love Meditation, and it is specifically designed for people to give and receive.

So what happens – especially if you’re in victim mindset – you’re trying to find something – to find love – so you see you see yourself as the victim and you don’t realize that receiving love and sometimes even the victim feels only like they can receive love if they are the victim.

So the victim is the energy of – yes if I’m victim I receive love.

So this Divine Love Meditation is very simple.

Ot’s all about opening up your heart and giving and receiving love, and that’s when you’ll experience a whole new way of living and a whole new way to experience the world – the internal world – because the external world will reflect what the internal world is doing.

So I always ask people to do that meditation for four or five days – an hour for a few weeks – you know every week do it a couple of – four or five days in a couple weeks and see what’s different and how they see the world just a little differently.

I know I don’t ask you what is – what’s changed – what’s different about you – I ask how do you feel – what feels different to you -and see how you know – test it out have fun with it.
